Over the past months, we have seen the fall out of fast fashion; whether it was Bangladeshi garment workers losing their livelihoods, the shocking conditions in Leicester’s garment factories or the scarily low prices of PLT’s Black Friday sales.
Therefore, one way we can help tackle these problems is by putting our money into small businesses, who are disadvantaged by algorithms and a lack of reach, meaning that we often can’t find them.
To help you out we’ve put together our list of favourite emerging black owned businesses, to help give you some inspiration for your Christmas gifts (or even just a treat for yourself). We’ve all earned something special this year, so take a look at our lists to find the perfect pick me up for this time of year!
